Build the shortlist before the event
Use your meal requirements and measured operating space to identify acceptable models. Save their exact numbers and the accessories you actually need; a seasonal banner should not change those requirements.
For our seasonal hubs, a calendar holiday and a retailer’s promotional window are different facts. We show an event as live only when an official announcement and current offer checks support it. Unannounced dates remain unconfirmed.
Write down a comparable checkout total
The FTC advises comparing exact model details and total costs, and reading deal conditions. Include shipping, necessary membership, required bundles, coupons and the new/refurbished condition in your notes.
Calculate sequential percentage reductions by multiplication, not addition. If your own eligible $100 item has 20% off followed by a permitted 10% coupon, the item subtotal is $72, before any shipping or tax. That is a calculated 28% reduction from your entered reference, not evidence of a historical low.
Keep return and recall checks in the purchase decision
Check the merchant’s current return deadline and conditions before paying, especially for gifts. A seasonal price does not establish an extended holiday return window or suitability for the recipient.
Check the exact model against official recall records. No result in our selected local records is not an all-clear certification; open the broader CPSC search when necessary. We do not publish invented previous-year savings or imply that a list-price comparison verifies a lowest-ever price.
