Two oven-style sizes, not basket-quart substitutes

BOV860 Smart Oven Air Fryer is documented at 18.9 inches wide and 15.9 inches deep. BOV900 Pro is 21.4 inches wide and 17.3 inches deep, and adds listed Proof and Dehydrate functions. Both are tray-and-rack ovens with Air Fry; our records do not assign them a comparable basket-quart number. Choose BOV860 when its narrower exterior and function set fit; choose BOV900 when its stated pan/rack arrangement and extra functions are actual tasks.

A door opens in front, racks and trays require cleaning, and manufacturer operating clearances must be honored. The BOV900 official manual gives its Air Fry rack/preheat sequence. A drawer-style basket may be simpler for a small repeated portion; a larger oven cavity may matter more for pans. We have no independent energy or crisping comparison between these models.

Construction claims and exact manuals

Breville lists brushed stainless steel construction for both BOV860 and BOV900, but the exterior or structure does not establish an uncoated food-contact cavity. BOV900’s manual supplies component-specific cleaning and accessory directions. Treat a stainless body as one documented construction fact, not a chemical-free score.

Both US profiles link model-specific manuals. BOV900’s manual and BOV860’s manual are different documents; rack position, clearance and maintenance must be checked for the exact appliance. Official support and parts access can change, so the source destination is a place to verify terms, not proof that a replacement item is in stock.
